Walking with God- Simple Truths Part 1

Updated: Feb 7, 2021

Genesis 5:24 "Enock walked faithfully with God; and then he was no more, because God took him away," Genesis 6:9. This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. How can one be so esteemed as to have walked faithfully with God? Let us look first at Enock since we find him in the earlier chapter. what do we know about Enoch? Well, Hebrew 11:5 tells us this "By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death: "He could not be found, because God had taken him away." for before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.' the bible clearly states that without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. you cannot walk with one whom you don't believe exist Amos 3:3 says "can two walk together except they be agreed? KJV. one has to believe that God is, Enock had faith, what is faith? Hebrews 11:1 says " to have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see! Now God is invisible ( Colossians 1:15) therefor you have got to have unwavering faith that He, who is God besides being unseen exists and that He is who He says He is, Enoch understood this. we shall keep this short so that we can add the part 2 another day.
